Along the way you'll enjoy views of numerous statues, monuments and historic buildings in the palace park, with a stop at the historic Gloriette where you can get off and take photos.

Afterwards, enjoy the Gerstner K. u. K. Hofzuckerbäcker show, where the making of traditional Viennese apple strudel with hand-pulled strudel pastry is demonstrated live – with a slice of apple strudel and a hot drink or mineral water included.

How the afternoon works: this is a scheduled panorama-train ride followed by the strudel demonstration, not the general hop-on/hop-off day ticket. The itinerary starts at 13:15 at Kronprinzengarten, Panoramabahn stop 1. Allow about 45 minutes for the ride, including the Gloriette photo stop. The apple-strudel show follows at 14:15, with the overall experience ending around 15:00. The train audio is offered in German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Hebrew and Chinese; this language list refers to the train commentary. Check your selected date and meeting instructions on the booking confirmation. A ride through the park should not be confused with admission to the palace’s interior rooms.
