Seating categories

• Category 1: seats in the front.
• Category 2: seats downstairs in the middle or on a balcony close to the stage.
• Category 3: seats in the center or on balcony sides.
• Category 4: seats at the back or on balcony sides.
• Category 5: restricted-view seats or standing room, depending on the performance.

Good to know

• Tickets can be collected at the Musikverein evening box office from one hour before the concert; hall admission usually begins 30 minutes before.
• Each guest needs a ticket. Children under 5 are not admitted.
• The Musikverein has a barrier-free entrance, lifts, accessible toilets and wheelchair spaces. Arrange a wheelchair space in advance.
• Program booklets are sold before performances. Cloakroom service is subject to a fee.
